Creating a premium banking experience beyond the card itself
For Mastercard World Elite, the challenge was to create a premium onboarding experience tailored towards high-net-worth private banking customers across multiple global regions. The project explored how packaging, print, digital and physical interaction could work together to elevate the perception of the card beyond a standard financial product into something more exclusive and experiential. The creative concept centred around the idea of “Endless Horizons”, using cinematic moonlit landscapes and horizon lines as a visual metaphor for freedom, access and limitless possibility. I worked across the wider experience system, designing premium card packaging concepts, onboarding materials, social assets, email journeys and branded accessories including custom AirTag concepts. The packaging itself became a core part of the experience, with layered reveals, hidden compartments, textured materials, ribbons, foil finishes and illuminated moon-inspired details all designed to create a sense of theatre and anticipation during unboxing.
